The Yamaha F1 engine team customized a 5.0L V8 engine for the high-performance luxury sports sedan IS F, which has a maximum power output of 310 kW at 6,600 rpm, and a 503 Nm peak torque at 5,200 rpm. The IS F is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in only 4.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 270km/h. The unforgettable high-speed traction and stability during turns will fire up the desire for speedy racing inside of every driver's heart.

Lexus' design philosophy of L-fineness, accompanied by F1 aerodynamic test, has created the dynamic style of IS F. Two sporty curves extend through the A-pillar, along the two sides of the intake grille, forming the shape of the large inlet above the forward bumper. The high-waistline design that outlines the car body, the elongated front thermo vent behind the front wheel arch, and the four tail pipes all reflect the high-performance capabilities of the IS F. The new 19-inch titanium-black aluminum wheel hub enhances the IS F's mobility, which also giving it an aggressive and futuristic look.
